Our company has always prided itself on the naturalness of our products without artificial colours and flavours. This applies to our brand and we are not changing anything. However, some of our private label customers have expressed a desire to “color” the contents of the can more red, without the use of nitrite. We are therefore testing a new natural red dye very successfully.
