Modern technology and automation levels are moving forward at an unstoppable pace. Whereas before we had to fill products like beef steaks and chicken thighs by hand, a German company has developed a bump can filler that doesn’t work on the usual principle like our minced meat fillers with chunks, but uses a super-strong sausage bump system to push whole cones of material directly into the can, no matter how tough or stringy it is. This machine can therefore be used to stuff whole steaks and whole chicken quarters. It has so much power it compresses and chops it into the shape of the contents of the can! Moreover, it can fill about 5000 cans per hour and it doesn’t matter if it is 400, 800 or 1200 g of canned food! We would like to put it into operation by the end of 2024!
